With one in five persons affected by a disability, it is very important that the body of Christ reach out to people with disabilities, as in His Word (Luke 14) God does not see a disability he only sees a soul.
The Disability Ministry addresses the needs of children (aged 4 and up) and adults with disabilities in the Church of God in Christ.
This 3 day camp provided several activities for children and ensures an avenue for children with disabilities to be an active part of AIM. This camp also provides a safe, educational and spiritual environment for parents to place their children, therefore allowing the parent to not only come to AIM but attend services of their choice.
